Easy Installation Process : Localhost

Set up DOES Examination System through the following steps.

Unzip and copy the script folder in your localhost.
Run the script path from any web browser. Ex : http://localhost/does/install.
Provide database settings.
Run the installer.

Easy Installation Process : Server

Set up DOES Examination System through the following steps.

Unzip and copy the script folder in your root folder.
Create Database , user, paswword and assign preveilages to user of all database
Note down the databse name, user name, password.
Run the script path from any web browser. Ex : http://my-domain/install.
Provide database settings.
Run the installer.
After installing, Please remove Install folder in root.

Note : We added PayPal for Paid exams and fixed few reported bugs in Version2

Case 1 : If you don't have data on the existing system

Delete all files and database and install DOES Vesion3 freshly

Case 2 : If you have data on the existing system

Keep Backup of old system
Replace all files and folders
open aplication/config/ ,replace the database.php with old database.php file, which is in same location in old backup
open root , replace assets folder with old assets folder, which is in same location in old backup
Run this Controller to update database : Ex : http://my-domain.com/updates

You can create unlimited categories by using this menu

go to admin dashboard, select category menu.
Enter Category Name and Status, then create. its done, now you created new category.
You can manage all categories on the Category dashboard, where you can delete, update existing categories.

Sub Category Management :

go to admin dashboard, select "sub categories" menu .
in the form, first select main category
enter your sub category name
update status, and press Add, its done, now you are created sub categroies
turn to sub category menu dashboard, where you can able to update/delete existing sub categroies

Here you can manage all your exam/quiz subjects

Go to subjects menu in admin dashboard
click on add subject button
Enter subject name and status
done, you now created subjects for exam
you can able to manage all subjects from subject dashboad

Here you can able to create questions for your exams
go to "questions" menu and click on add question
add all the fields in the form to create question of anytype, ex: audio, video, image, multiple choice
you can manage all questions from questions dashboard, you can edit/delete them
